It was founded by Singer- songwriter, poet, author and actress LaMeshia Shaw Tanimowo in 2006 and was formerly known as "Meshiamart." Originally it offered singing/songwriting services as well as business card and actor/model comp card creation. Though those services are still available SME has flourished into a diverse company that also offers products for everyday living and also showcases local artists and upcoming talent and so much more.
