Hope, help and support found here!
A purple cross would be appropriate for all recovery centers, peer support centers, recovery residences, recovery coaching agencies, recovery program meeting halls.
Maybe we could create a bat signal that shines brightly in the sky for others to find a path.
There is support available.
Let's make it more visible!

Why is purple the color for recovery?
"The United States' National Recovery Month was founded in 1989. Purple was selected as our recovery movement's official color"
I've heard it said that recovery is neither a democrat or republican issue - it 'crosses' party lines and blue + red = purple.
Whatever the reason - let's make recovery as visible as the red and green crosses!

Dear Patients,
Be Well My Friend Integrative Health Center is happy to announce the expansion of our team of practitioners and services assisting our current patients as well as the greater Augusta community.
We have recently welcomed two new medical professionals to our BWMF family practice team.
Erin Gallagher, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), a graduate of Simmons University who brings to BWMF a wide breadth and depth of experience from pediatric to geriatric care, across specialties at major hospitals and specialized practices. She has been recognized for clinical excellence with The Alumni Award for Holistic Health. Erin is enthusiastically transitioning into her new role at BWMF.
Kateri Jeffery, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), a graduate from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a master’s degree in nursing. Her previous experience as a registered nurse afforded her invaluable experiences at community and federally qualified health centers, private practice and Maine Medical Center. Kateri is committed to providing high quality patient care with a personal connection.
BWMF is also expanding our addiction services to help address the terrible scourge of opioid addiction affecting our community. We are all aware of the heavy toll that the opioid epidemic has taken on families struggling with addiction, and it is only getting worse during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Be Well My Friend, we are working to help by expanding our care for those facing the challenges of op**te addiction through the recently founded Behavioral Health & Recovery Services division. Dr. Kevin Kenerson is leading this initiative as the Clinical Director. Although his primary focus will be on addiction services into the near future, he remains committed to his primary care patients. Dr. Kenerson’s patients will transition to our nurse practitioners, with oversight by Dr. Kenerson, during this start-up phase. Dr. Dufresne will continue to see Primary Care patients and will assist with the Recovery Services division.
We appreciate your support of Be Well My Friend’s Integrative Health Center as we continue to heed the calls for help from our patients and the community.
Be Well,
Kevin R. Kenerson, D.O.
Michael D. Dufresne, D.O.
