Here is an easy step you can take to reduce the number of browntail moths around your house.
Browntail moth adults will be flying soon – discourage them from laying eggs (future caterpillars!) in your trees by turning off outdoor lights at night in July.
If you can’t turn off your outdoor lights, consider swapping the outdoor bulb color from white-blue to yellow to attract fewer browntail moth adults.
