TWO VICTIMS IDENTIFIED IN NORTH AUGUSTA GAS STATION DOUBLE MURDER
Authorities say the victims were 76-year-old Jewel Harden from Hephzibah (left) and 33-year-old Thomas B. Lilly Jr. of Williston, S.C. (right). Both were killed before an officer shot the armed suspect at the Sprint gas station on Edgefield Road in North Augusta.
In a press release, SLED says a North Augusta officer opened fire after an armed man raised an AR-style pistol during Sunday’s deadly shooting. They did not release the suspect's name nor indicate when they might name them.
