Kick Father’s Day off early with a Beer & Chocolate pairing this Saturday!

Jim from Marleys Chocolate Lab is BACK for another round of Beer & Chocolate pairing!

We will have 5 flavors of chocolate truffles to pair with 5 of our beers for a unique tasting experience!

Pairing starts at 6pm and we will guide you through a journey of beer and chocolate! Including for the first time Marley’s Truffle Stout, our collab with Marley’s!

What a fun group of people attended the first Beer and Chocolate Pairing at Olive Pit Brewing Company last evening! Laughter, smiles and totally invested in the experience. Nobody had ever been to a Pairing before and they LOVED it! All the Pairings were enjoyed some having favorites and everyone said they would come back to another Pairing and bring friends! I LOVE my job!

Got home at 9:30 and noting that it was a beautiful night (not raining and warm) so I took Jobin for a well deserved walk before fixing something to eat since I had been too busy making and dipping 16 dozen truffles for the Pairing yo eat lunch or dinner. I browned some chopped bacon in a saucepan, added chopped onion, sauted until translucent, then added heavy cream and black pepper, lastly added cooked pasta shells and shredded Parmesan cheese making a Parmesan sauce (no garlic because it was so late). Jobin did excellent on our walk. Then off to bed.
Doing some carpentry stuff today before heading to Portland for a doctor appointment at 3:30. Then spreading chocolate joy To the trivia crew at CBU for a bit. I'll be taking flavors from last night's Pairing so all new flavors for people to try.

First have yo take Jobin out, get him his breakfast and mine, too. I'm thinking a bacon,steak, mushroom and onion omelet.
