The original school, SDRHS, was located in Lewiston when first found, but in 2001, a new building was built in place for it in Auburn, Maine. As it progressed, Holy Cross, a Catholic grammar school in Lewiston, joined with St. Josephs, and St. Peter and Sacred Heart School, to form Trinity Catholic in 2006. Then in the 2009-2010 school year, the idea of joining SDRHS, and Trinity Catholic, was administered by the Portland Catholic Diocese of Maine.
