It’s been 7 1/2 years since we lost our Chandler. There are no words to accurately explain the heartbreak that losing a child brings, especially in the manner of su***de. Not a moment passes that Chandler is not on my mind. I miss his witty humor and amazing hugs. I miss the way he could brighten my day with his smile. I miss hearing the beautiful music he created, as he was so incredibly gifted. I just miss my son, and the pain left behind will never cease.

He was loved by so many but his depression wouldn’t allow him to feel his own self worth. As a family, we did everything we could to help Chandler in his battle with depression, but the mental illness won and took him away from us. No family should ever have to face this battle of moving through life without their child or loved one.
