• Not all flowers are edible AND even though one part of a plant might be edible, that doesn’t mean the others are.
• Never experiment with eating unknown plants - first call the Cooperative Extension Office of Atlantic County (609-625-0056).
• Like any food, some people might have sensitivities to edible flowers.

We warmly invite you to join us for this season’s farmers markets where you can shop for locally grown vegetables, fruit and herbs using a variety of payment methods including food benefits (SNAP/EBT, Good Food Bucks, WIC FMNP, & Senior FMNP).
You’ll not only go home with nutritious and delicious produce, but also meet your neighbors, talk with the farmers who grow your food, and take home additional items like recipes!

Hi 👋 Shannon & Steve here with a little Farm Share Program update: C.R.O.P.S.’s every-other-Wednesday Farm Share Program pickup at the Food Hub @167 S. Tennessee Ave is growing and we’d love for you to be part of it! 🥕🍅🥬
We have a few openings for shareholders and produce shares are ordered & purchased in advance through the New Roots app, with share pickups from 11am-1pm Wednesdays 7/22, 8/5, 8/19, 9/2, 9/16, and then further into the autumn!
In a share, you can expect about 8 produce items, paired with recipes. It’s also a great way to connect with your neighbors on a pickup day! To learn more, visit our website or email [email protected].

● Summer Fridays:
🌱☀️🥬 C.R.O.P.S. is excited to share that our Summer Fridays program, now in its 2nd year as a partnership with Atlantic Center for Independent Living, it continues through September 19th!
In this program, the C.R.O.P.S. Team will facilitate inclusive programming in Fisherman’s Park Community Garden for all participants, with focuses on gardening and nutrition - and free, roundtrip jitney transportation from multiple locations in Atlantic City & Pleasantville to increase access to fresh, locally grown food. This programming will provide participants with enjoyable, interactive experiences in Fisherman’s Park Community Garden to foster a connection with nature through gardening and wildlife habitat exploration, as well as a Farmers Market experience. . .
