Today, I walked in our 69th Annual Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade. We celebrated the 4th of July in Forsyth County, GA. People from all walks of life, with diverse beliefs and different backgrounds, came together to celebrate the United States.

We walked together. United in our reverence. I’m grateful that I was a part of today. Happy 250th, USA!

Calling all Georgia Democrats to vote in the Democratic Primary Runoff today, June 16th!

Here's the deal: If you voted in the Democratic Primary, you can vote in the Democratic Primary Runoff. You have to go to your assigned voting location because today is Primary Runoff Election Day.

For Lieutenant Governor, we've got Josh McLaurin running against Nabilah Parkes. For Secretary of State, we've got Dana Barrett running against Penny Brown Reynolds. For Commissioner of Insurance, we've got DeAndre Mathis running against Keisha Sean Waites. And for Commissioner of Labor, we've got Nikki Porcher running against Michelle “Michi” Sanchez.

For those of us in Congressional District 7, we've got Tony Kozycki running against Case Norton. CD7 includes the entirety of Forsyth County, Lumpkin County, and Dawson County, as well as portions of Fulton, Cherokee, and Hall.

Please, my friends, go out and VOTE. We've got this. You can do it. Your vote is your voice. Together we can. 💙
