I adore our Fighting Fifty PAC family and our extended Georgia Dems family. Fighting Fifty has welcomed and supported so many of us from day one. π
On April 11, Georgia Democrats gathered together for the Democratic Party of Georgia Carter-Lewis Dinner. I ditched my pajamas and put on a dress to join my Fighting Fifty PAC & Forsyth County Georgia Democrats families. It was very inspiring! Speakers included Georgiaβs Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock and Senator Jon Ossoff, as well as Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.
I am ready.
Ready to do the work.
I am Meredith Greene, and I am running for Georgia House District 26.
Letβs flip the State House!
Together, we can do this.

TL;DR: When everything else falls away, it comes down to who someone is. Ethics over aesthetics.

βQuiet winsβ from our Georgia General Assembly. ππΌ
SINE DIE 2026!! Last night, the GA Legislative Session officially ended and I wanted to share some "quiet wins" for our community that happened because certain bills DIDN'T make it to the finish line.
HB-960 (Protecting our vote): this bill would have forced a massive shift to hand-marked paper ballots was stopped. This would have caused a logistical nightmare. Lots of work to do on the QR code deadline coming in July, stay tuned.
SB-74 (Protecting Librarians and Speech): This bill, if passed, would have threatened our local librarians with CRIMINAL CHARGES over book collections. Our libraries are not legal battlegrounds.
SB-27 (Protecting Your Privacy): This bill that was so vague it could have accidentally criminalized normal online political debate was put on hold. Also, SB-482 was a proposal to HIDE law enforcement video from the public and was stopped in its tracks. Government accountability demands the cameras to stay on.
Now we push through the primary and general election season. Let me know what you want to see happen in 2027!
Itβs darkest before the dawn.
Happy Good Friday to all who celebrate! π€
The Place is a tremendous organization that has been serving our Forsyth County community for decades. Volunteering with them is a truly worthwhile way to lift up our fellow neighbors. And there are so many ways to volunteer, like being a bread runner! ππ
