Reproductive Justice is Black History.

Black women, alongside trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people, have long fought for bodily autonomy, the right to have children, the right not to have children, and the right to raise our families in safe, sustainable communities. These struggles are rooted in survival, dignity, and collective care, and live at the intersection of movements for racial justice, gender justice, disability justice, immigrant justice, and economic liberation.

This Black History Month, we honor the Black people who built this framework and continue to expand it, knowing that our liberation is bound together, and that none of us are free until all of us are free.

🫠These are the faces we make every day in the fight for RJ...

P.S. Who else is still processing this interview? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Anyways, we won’t get to Reproductive Freedom, fight fascism, or secure our Bodily Autonomy by ourselves. The way is to organize, convene, and mobilize. You think you’re not a part of RJ? THINK AGAIN!

The Solidarity House is a collaborative space for deep conversation and creative activation, led by a coalition of media, narrative, and cultural organizations. Rooted in years of shared work at the Sundance Film Festival, it brings artists and organizers together to practice imagination as infrastructure—an essential tool for building the future of independent storytelling from the outside in.

Due to high interest, RSVPs are required for all events; space is limited and rooms will reset between sessions to make room for new voices and perspectives. We ask all attendees to help steward a welcoming, safe, and well-held environment for everyone.
