I’m heading into Year 4 of teaching. At what point am I officially considered a veteran teacher? 🤣

Honored to have been invited to the U.S. Capitol for Hill Day alongside fellow education creators.

Today, we had the opportunity to meet with several U.S. senators, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations about education and the future of our schools. I’m incredibly grateful to have had a seat at the table and represent the voices of educators and students.

The work continues.📚💙

So, I can officially add Keynote Speaker and Comedian (😂) to my résumé.

Although I’m no stranger to the stage, standing in front of a room full of people to inspire them and make them laugh was a different kind of honor.
