One of our customers shared this photo of herself wearing one of our hats! What color y'all call this?

I usually say light green but some customers say lime and others say chartreuse.

The bag in this photo is one of our handmade pieces from Madagascar. The base is woven raffia, but the colored stripes on the exterior are Malagasy silk and it doesn't look or feel the way most people expect silk to.

It comes from the landibe moth, native to Madagascar's highlands, which feeds on tapia trees rather than mulberry. The result is a matte, beautifully textured silk that feels closer to fine linen than to satin.

Bags, scarves, and apparel are all woven from it.
