Mascara Dialogues was created in order to start ongoing, sometimes intergenerational discussions with OUR girls about life, self-esteem, culture, and the issues that they are currently dealing with. The idea for Mascara Dialogues started after hearing ‘Mascara’ a satirical song by artist Jazmine Sullivan. Join us Black August Weekend | Saturday, August 19, 2017 @ 1pm for our next Mascara Dialogues session! We'll be discussing some of the issues impacting OUR young girls, how they are dealing with them, and how WE can help them work through them. We'll use music as a means of giving life to THEIR thoughts, feelings, and concerns. This will be a safe space.
