Though at times we may speak with tongue in cheek, it is our intention to be clearly heard. The best way to make a dream come true is to wake up and do something.

Our colleagues at the CDC in Atlanta have faced an extraordinary and tragic year in 2025, from attacks on science and public health to devastating personal losses. They endured the chaos of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr missteps, mass staff departures, and the unimaginable violence of a gunman who fired over 180 shots, shattered 150 windows, and took the life of a police officer. Through it all, these dedicated professionals have continued working tirelessly to protect public health. Share to honor and support the bravery of CDC workers.
