📢SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT📢

SCADshow will be relocating to 1470 Spring Street as part of a new university development that is currently under construction. The former SCADshow location at 173 14th St. NE has been sold and is no longer owned or occupied by the university.

SCAD Atlanta will continue to grow. The new mixed-use development at 1470 Spring St. is part of the university's commitment to enrich student life with advanced amenities where students can live, study, create, and play. The multi-phase project is slated for ongoing staggered completion beginning Fall 2022. The new development will incorporate a 20-story residence hall, 35,000 square feet of academic space, a full-service dining hall, a fitness and wellness facility, social gathering spaces, and a SCAD bookstore.

Additionally, this development will feature SCAD Atlanta’s largest main stage theater, including a 700-seat auditorium and 150-seat black box theater. The theater will host SCAD signature events, industry screenings, and special performances throughout the calendar year. Select residence halls and the dining hall are scheduled for completion in Fall 2022. The theater and fitness facilities are projected for completion in Fall 2023.

With the addition of this new 1470 Spring St. development, SCAD Atlanta is enhancing its position of offering best-in-class instructional and creative environments to foster learning, collaboration, and innovation for SCAD students — and for the greater Atlanta community.
