Since Middle School Lady Poetry has been writing and honing her skills, learning to master the art of word manipulation and elevated cognition. In high school her English teacher challenged her to write a poem to recite in front of the class every Wednesday. Performing since her freshman year in college, Lady Poetry has had the pleasure in performing in some of the most well known venues like Bus

It’s so hard to stay grounded when every fiber of my being wants to take flight.
Fly high into the clouds and past the stars to where celestial beings unite.
As fire ignites and the soul burns bright
I smile… outshining Heaven’s light.
I long to dance on Saturn’s rings while being adorned with diamonds from Neptune’s rain.
Before traveling at the speed of light through space and time on a sacred campaign.
Searching for a familiar terrain that can be claimed as our domain.
Eons away from the terrestrial plane.
Where we can build a tribe where Sun and Moon coalesce in Godly form.
Beings of light and stardust as we create our storm.
Giving life that is natural, free, and warm.
Making way for consciousness to evolve and transform.
