to May 2019, when Scott Pelley visited Atlanta to discuss his book, “Truth Worth Telling,” with stops at Manuel’s Tavern and the Carter Center.

Of the many author receptions we’ve hosted over the years, this remains one of our most memorable. Before the main event, Scott spent time with members of the A Ca****la Choir, taking the time to meet guests one-on-one and chat with everyone who came through the room. It was clear that those conversations meant a great deal to the guests who joined us that evening.

We’ve long believed that thoughtful journalism and honest storytelling matter. It was truly an honor to share such a special evening with one of journalism’s most respected voices.
