Domestic violence advocates tell me there are countless victims from immigrant backgrounds in our Atlanta communities who are too afraid to reach out for help because they're afraid of being arrested and deported by ICE and being separated from their families.
In my latest report for CBS Atlanta, I spoke with one domestic violence survivor who immigrated to the Atlanta-metro from India in the early 2000s about her harrowing journey, and about the risks that immigrant victims of DV are facing today.
This week, I spoke with T.I. about the work he’s been doing in Atlanta to feed families for Thanksgiving for more than 20 years.

My heart is broken. Anyone who knows me knows how much I worshipped this man and his music growing up. It pains me that he died in the way that he did, as he went through so much in his life and career. My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time.
