Join us tomorrow morning for a free Wagner Symposium — an in-depth conversation with the creative team behind Twilight of the Gods, plus a candid lecture from Grammy-winning Heldentenor Jay Hunter Morris on what it really takes to build a Wagnerian career. Columbia University Professor of Music Walter Frisch closes the morning with a deep dive into Wagner's epic conclusion.

Doors open at 9:30am. Free and open to the public. Full details and registration at atlantaopera.org/event/behind-the-ring-wagner-symposium-2/

"Opening that portal to that music and to that experience is something that is absolutely addictive."

General & Artistic Director Tomer Zvulun and conductor Roberto Kalb sit down to share what Wagner's Ring Cycle means to them — and what they hope Atlanta audiences will feel when the world burns and is washed by the Rhine at the conclusion of Twilight of the Gods.

Some works of art can be described. This one has to be lived. Watch this Sidebar from The Atlanta Opera Film Studio and then join us in the theater.
