Week 1 of the EcoCAR EV Challenge Year 4 Finals ⚡️
The Georgia Tech EcoCAR team spent the week at GM’s Milford Proving Ground testing our vehicle’s capabilities and pushing boundaries during Stage 1 Dynamic Vehicle Evaluations. From testing and vehicle evaluations to consumer ride events, it was incredible seeing a year of hard work come to life on track.
Our amazing Mobility Challenge subteam created a wheelchair lift for paralyzed drivers with partnership with Next-Step Atlanta. We want to bring awareness to the challenge of lifting a wheelchair frame, and showcase our design to target this in this video. Thank you to the physical therapists at Next Step Atlanta for all of their guidance and feedback along the way! ♿️♿️
