LifeLine Animal Project

Behind every successful surgery is a team dedicated to learning and providing the best possible care. Our entire Community Animal Center Spay/Neuter team recently participated in hands on training designed to keep staff up to date on LifeLine protocols and ensure our patients remain safe at all times.

This ongoing training helps make sure our team has the nowledge to respond to every situation that may arise during a procedure. The class covered CPR, anesthesia basics, intubation, moving anesthetized patients, induction and recovery, brachycephalic anesthesia, anesthetic complications, leak testing anesthesia machines, and changing soda lime.

75 dogs at Fulton County Animal Services and DeKalb County Animal Services need adopters or fosters by 7pm tonight. Adoptions are FREE today for Take ’Em Home Tuesday, and the more dogs who get into homes, the bigger difference it will make for our capacity.

Fulton County Animal Services is currently caring for 20 more dogs than the shelter was built for, while DeKalb County Animal Services is housing 55 more dogs than capacity. At least 20 dogs at Fulton County Animal Services and 55 dogs at DeKalb County Animal Services are in urgent need of adopters or fosters.
