Greetings from Capstone Community Services Foundation. We hope 2023 has been a great year for you.

As we approach giving Tuesday, I wanted to provide an update on how the funds donated have been used. These numbers are through October 31, 2023. There have been additional donations and services provided already in November.

In 2022, we started with a balance in our account of $1,560.45. We raised $6,155.00 and provided $6954.83 in scholarships to 18 individuals and families.

In 2023, we raised $10,205.01 and provided $8,030.81 in scholarships to 25 individuals and families.

We have consistently grown each year. In 2023, we began supporting people seeking neurofeedback services through a new program at Capstone Counseling. A special fund was created for people seeking neurofeedback. $3000.00 was given by June to provide funding for these services. Neurofeedback has proven beneficial for people who don't necessarily respond to traditional therapy. Children and families who struggle with ADHD and learning disorders are benefitting from these services.

We would love to raise an additional $5000.00 in 2023/2024 and provide at least $15000.00 in scholarships to individuals and families who need assistance. Our policy is to not provide full scholarships. We expect individuals to contribute something, even if only a minimal amount, as research shows they will not benefit from services without this level of involvement. As a result, I can share that every single individual who received assistance this year was committed to the process and has benefitted from the services received.
