Cleft Family Support Foundation Seeks to Build Connected Community Cleft Family Support Foundation held a community gathering on May 23, aiming to bring together local families and individuals who are affected by the condition.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Cleft Family Community Day in Fayetteville!
This event brought together our generous supporters, volunteers, and community members who make the CFSP mission possible. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring families together, build connections, share resources, and raise awareness about cleft conditions.
During the event, Alina Gamaleeva, Founder and President of CFSP, shared updates on the organization’s mission, accomplishments, and future plans. We were also pleased to introduce the Free Trial Support Program for Expecting Parents in Georgia, which includes our Cleft Bottle Support Program and provides practical support and resources to families affected by cleft.
Guests also viewed a special video message from Mary Lee Mami Besos , who shared her personal cleft journey and the experiences that shaped her path.
In addition, we highlighted The Sparkle You Carry by Stacy Swope , a heartfelt children’s book written by a mother of a child with cleft, sharing a personal cleft journey to support families, increase understanding, and provide encouragement to those affected by cleft lip and palate. Following the event, the book will be donated to a local library to help make these resources accessible to more families in our community.
We are deeply grateful to everyone in our community who attended this special event and to the supporters who continue to show up for our cleft families every day.
