National Foster a Pet Month is a reminder that changing a life doesn’t always mean adopting. Sometimes, it simply means opening your home for a little while.

Every day, shelters and rescues across the Atlanta area need foster families to give dogs a safe place to rest, decompress, and prepare for their forever homes. That temporary act of kindness can literally save a life by creating space for another animal in need.

Not in a position to foster? You can still make a huge impact by:
🐾 Donating food, supplies, or funds to a local rescue
🐾 Volunteering your time to walk dogs, transport pets, or help at adoption events
🐾 Sharing your favorite shelter or rescue’s posts on social media to help more animals find homes
🐾 Telling friends and family about fostering opportunities

Happy National Rescue Dog Day! What better way to celebrate than to meet the most handsome gentleman, Sir Snyder!

Sir Snyder was another LifeLine pup to join us for our hike on Monday. He embodies a majestic spirit, his name fittingly capturing the confident stride and gentle charm that defines him. With an infectious enthusiasm, he delights in the company of fellow dogs, follows commands with precision, and demonstrates the poise of a well-adjusted companion. He is crate trained, potty trained, and has been very polite and non destructive in the home. His agility shines as he effortlessly clears low fences and gates, yet he is a solid dog that will bring joy and adventure to your home!
