RPOSE: To cultivate a favorable and mutually advantageous relationship between students and professional public relations practitioners. Increase awareness of the Public Relations Student Society of America’s national initiatives.

2. Enhance understanding of current ideas and practices of the PR profession.

3. Promote consciousness of ethical issues and concerns in public relations.

4. Provide opportunities to gain public relations experience in writing, campaign planning and networking.

5. Develop in-depth understanding of various fields in the PR industry.

6. Encourage Associate Membership to the professional organization, Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
