They shared their experiences in orthopedic medicine, discussed their educational journeys, and provided students with insight into what it takes to become a physician and pursue a career in healthcare.

With 24 years of experience, Dr. Wahlquist specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, focusing on injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, particularly sports-related injuries and surgical treatments. His comprehensive approach helps patients manage both acute injuries and chronic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles and connective tissues.

Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta was proud to participate in the Free Community Healthcare Mobile Clinic in Decatur this past Saturday, where Dr. Altman joined fellow healthcare providers in giving back to the community by providing healthcare services to local members of the community and their families.

In partnership with South DeKalb Family Physicians in Lithonia, along with many other healthcare organizations and vendors, the event helped connect local residents with valuable healthcare resources and services.

Dr. Sierra Phillips, along with her P.A. Morgan Kirk and M.A. Rebecca Robinson, recently hosted a hands-on splinting clinic with providers from Piedmont Urgent Care. Opportunities like this allow us to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and ensure patients receive seamless, high-quality orthopedic care from the moment they walk through the door.
