Tromperie (2021)
, also known as Deception, is a French romantic drama directed by Arnaud Desplechin, based on Philip Roth's 1990 novel. Set in 1980s London, the film follows Philip (Denis Podalydès), a renowned American writer living in exile, who engages in a series of intimate and philosophical conversations with his English mistress (Léa Seydoux) in his secluded office.
