It was truly an honor to be recognized yesterday at the Gospel Music Day celebration at the Georgia State Capitol. 🎶

We gathered to honor the legends of gospel music and the Atlanta leaders who continue to serve and uplift our community. I was especially excited to celebrate alongside the incomparable Dorothy Norwood and fellow honorees Dr. Teresa Hairston Jackson, Senator Sonya Halpern, Commissioner Gene Andrews (inductee), Christine Giles, Demmelle Guidry, and Ann Nesby.

Thank you to the National Commission for Black Arts & Entertainment for creating such a meaningful moment.

Together, we will continue to uplift and celebrate the rich legacy of gospel music in our city!
