To be honest this has been in the drafts for over a week. All I’m going to say is that we have to do better!! The land, our state, and our offspring deserve to experience Alabama the Beautiful and that only happens if we truly appreciate the biodiversity around us!!

Snow came early this year!! It’s seed cleaning season and we’re starting on the milkweed seed!

Well I already have three dogs at home so I can’t keep her but she really didn’t give me a choice i couldn’t leave her like that! Someone watching needs this dog and if you’re close to North Alabama and would give her a good home she could be yours!

If the land is being permanently altered then the ones doing so should be putting back habitat equal to or greater than what they are removing. Habitat should be implemented into the development through landscaping and in marginal space. This should then be made available to the public for approval before any soil is disturbed! We are at a point of no return and something needs to change!

If you’ve ever seen ashy sunflower in a prairie it really makes a statement! We’ll be making sure this population turns into dozens of populations across the moulton valley!!
