Recently, two of the founding members of Legacy Keepers -- Justin G. Tanner (City of Atlanta, Mayor's Office) and Michael Green (Pansophy Capital Partners, LLC) -- joined a select group of Georgia's leaders and attended a working meeting on the fiscal cliff in Washington, DC. The meeting was held at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), located next to the West Wing, and hosted by The White House Office of Public Engagement. On Saturday, July 7th, the Legacy Keepers and Untie Atlanta hosted a BBQ at 4th Ward Park to spread the word about the July 31st Transportation Referendum. Voting "YES" for this critical initiative could decrease traffic, provide jobs and help keep Atlanta well positioned as as a major transportation hub for years to come. The BBQ was sponsored by Marco's Pita and Fleming Cooper. Many thanks to the Legacy Keepers - Untie Atlanta host committee for all their hardwork and for making the event a success.
