Two reflections of the same struggle, each carrying the weight of lifeās hardships in a different way.
The stones symbolize the obstacles we are forced to carry, while the plants growing through the cracks remind us that growth is still possible, even under pressure. In Growth in the Grip II, the loss of hair represents losing a sense of identity through stress and hardship.
These pieces are a reminder that even when life feels heavy and parts of us are changed by what weāve endured, resilience finds a way to bloom. Growth doesnāt happen despite the struggle, it often happens because of it. š

It took many trials and nearly a month to finally finish this piece. One thing I can say is that ArtfulATL critique sessions helped me grow so much as an artist. The feedback pushed me to see my work differently and create something stronger.
