Hosting set up list.
1. Understand local laws and policies on STRs.
2. Start small to learn quick. (Make big mistakes small.)
3. Choose location, set up business docs and/or processes, get approval (from landlord and/or city), and list sight.
4. Set up house rules.
5. Stage house and take pictures.
6. List on short-term and midterm websites.
7. Prepare for first guest and set expectations but exceed them.
8. Keep in touch aka be available.
9. Have fun.
