ARS has been making good use of our industries pause to test and develop new automation products. Pictured is the ARS level lift system which features a single 6.3kw motor, powering four independent zero fleet drums that will run at 1ft per second with 4400lbs of payload. ARS Automation team set out to produce a system that gives our customers reliable synchronized level operation for platforms or set pieces. This system also integrates a battery backup as well as redundant braking at the drum and motor. This ensures the system is both safe and cannot be "stuck" in position. The level lift is controlled by a custom ARS-HMI that utilizes reliable industrial automation software to keep things moving. Stay tuned for more advances in rigging and automation.
