Man the past 6 months have been so crazy. My mom had a health emergency in November, thank God she has pretty much made a full recovery! Then just when things started brightening up her mom, my last living grandparent left this Earth 2/27/26. Still trying to process all this. It’s been 1 week now today since we buried her. I was an only child and grew up in a different state than my extended family on both sides so I feel like I missed so much! Very thankful for the time we did have though. My grandmother got a chance to meet and spend time with my wife and the family we created down here, she got to hang out with her youngest great grandson’s enough times for them to be well acquainted but not enough times for them to drive her crazy 😅, she was surrounded by family in Kentucky for support and to be by her side, and now she’s reunited with her husband, 2 of her children, her parents and all her homegirls, and most importantly she is no longer in pain.
