A Flagler County jury returned an $8.638 million verdict in favor of a commercial truck driver who suffered catastrophic injuries after a tractor-trailer lost control and caused his box truck to roll multiple times.
Despite clear dash cam footage of the crash and a rejected $2 million policy-limits demand, the defense initially offered just $525,000 before ultimately admitting liability two weeks before trial.
The Plaintiff sustained life-altering injuries including a cervical fusion, spinal fracture, torn ACL, shoulder injuries, head trauma, and permanent scarring, resulting in extensive medical treatment, ongoing pain, and loss of enjoyment of life.

A Connecticut jury awarded $49 million in a medical malpractice case after finding that an OB-GYN failed to follow standard protocols for monitoring persistent high-risk HPV, delaying the diagnosis of cervical cancer for years. Plaintiff was ultimately diagnosed with late-stage metastatic cervical cancer in 2019, and the jury found the defendants negligent for failing to perform recommended follow-up testing despite repeated abnormal results.

A Georgia Plaintiff brought a premises liability case against Home Depot after several 6-foot melamine boards fell from a store display and struck her in the head while an employee was assisting with merchandise. The Plaintiff alleged the store failed to properly secure the display with an adequate safety beam, and Home Depot later accepted liability for the incident prior to trial.
