We can’t let end without celebrating the Top 100 black tech companies (identified by ) and their ability to thrive in the face of barriers like racial bias and lack of funding. Let us be the first to say: These barriers aren’t gonna stop us. Not now, not ever. We’re recreating the tech ecosystem and making sure that it looks more like US.

The Top 100 black companies are averaging over 90.5 million in total equity funding with no plans on letting up.

Almost half of the Top 100 black tech companies are made up of these 4 verticals:

Not to mention,
📝Their average number of black tech companies founded per year is 4.
📝Their average number of years in operation is 7
📝More than half of the Top 100 companies were founded between 2013 and 2016
📝Nearly 20% of Black-founded companies were founded in 2015 and 5 of those 18 companies were FinTech companies.

Let that serve as motivation to KEEP GOING. A lot of these companies have been building in the trenches for a while. Just like their company, your company has purpose and IS making a difference. You got this.
