This month, MSIV Cadets and cadre from Stinger Battalion traveled across Georgia for a staff ride covering General William T. Sherman's March to the Sea campaign. On the first day, Cadets and cadre visited the Civil War sites of the Battle of Griswoldville and Fort McAllister, where MSIVs facilitated discussions on both the battles themselves and the ethics of warfare.

After a morning of PT the next day, the staff ride concluded at Andersonville National Historic Site, where park rangers guided Cadets and cadre through a tour of the former Civil War prison of Camp Sumter as well as the National Prisoner of War Museum.
