Bloom Parham is pleased to announce that Pierce Ostwalt, James Ronald “Ronnie” Thompson, and Logan Berg have recently joined the firm as Associates. These new attorneys will bring an impressive record of judicial clerkship experience and academic achievement to the firm.

Pierce joins Bloom Parham from his clerkship with Georgia Supreme Court Justice Shawn Ellen LaGrua, and he previously clerked for the Honorable Katherine P. Nelson, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. Pierce graduated from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where he was a Caruthers Fellow, an Associate Justice of the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Executive Board, and a two-year member of the Richard “Red” L. Jones national moot court team. Pierce will focus his practice at Bloom Parham in appellate and construction litigation.

Prior to beginning his tenure with Bloom Parham, Ronnie served for two years as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Atchley, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Ronnie earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, where he graduated summa cm laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He also served as Student Writing Editor on the Georgia State University Law Review’s Executive Board. Ronnie will assist Bloom Parham clients in resolving land use issues and in construction litigation.

Logan arrives at Bloom Parham after graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, Logan served as the Executive Conference Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, co-president of the Environmental Law Association, and worked with the Land Conservation Clinic. Logan completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University where he graduated summa cm laude with degrees in History and Political Science. Logan will focus his practice in real estate, construction and business disputes.
