WOW.

This is why MELT exists.

This week, MELT was honored to work alongside Soccer in the Streets, Topgolf, Q99.7 and so many incredible partners to create a once-in-a-lifetime FIFA World Cup experience for young people and their families.

Inspired by an Atlanta Journal-Constitution story about local fans being priced out of the FIFA World Cup, MELT Chairman & CEO Vince Thompson wanted to turn inspiration into action.

Working with Soccer in the Streets, young participants and their families attended the Haiti vs. Morocco FIFA World Cup match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Before kickoff, Topgolf CEO David McKillips welcomed everyone to Topgolf Midtown Atlanta for a special World Cup Viewing Party, creating another unforgettable memory.

The story continued to spread thanks to Q99.7, whose coverage helped inspire even more support for the initiative.

As Ken Sugiura wrote:

“Do nice things, maybe it comes back to you.”

We’re grateful to Soccer in the Streets, Topgolf, David McKillips, Q99.7, Ken Sugiura, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and everyone who helped make this incredible day possible.

🚨 DOGSTERS AND ACTIVATION PARTNER MELT FEATURED IN EVENT MARKETER MAGAZINE 🚨

https://www.eventmarketer.com/article/brief-dogsters-paws-of-fame-puma-hidden-frequencies/

What a week in Bentonville. 🐾🎬🍦

The first-ever Pet Film Festival brought together pet lovers, filmmakers, rescue advocates, creators, brands, and families from across the country.

MELT was proud to help our valued partners at Dogsters and J&J Snack Foods bring the Splash & Chill Pool Party and Paws of Fame experience to life alongside WUF World, Walmart, Best Friends Animal Society, and the Bentonville Film Festival team.

From adoptable pets and community storytelling to unforgettable photo moments, frozen treats, and plenty of tail wags, it was incredible to watch people connect around something they genuinely love.

The festival itself featured appearances from Geena Davis, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Ree Drummond, Bobby Flay, and many other incredible storytellers and advocates.

We’re honored to see the activation recognized by Event Marketer Magazine and grateful to work with partners who continue to trust MELT to help bring bold ideas to life.

That’s what great experiences do.

They bring people together.

A new study highlighted by Forbes found that roughly a quarter of college students using AI daily are also using it to cheat academically.

But honestly?

The bigger conversation isn’t cheating.

It’s transformation.

Because education, workforce development, and human learning are being fundamentally reshaped in real time.

The reality is:

AI is now embedded into how students:

research

write

study

communicate

organize information

create content

and solve problems

And institutions are struggling to adapt as fast as behavior is changing.

At the same time, employers increasingly expect graduates to understand:

➡️ AI tools

➡️ prompt strategy

➡️ content workflows

➡️ automation

➡️ digital communication

➡️ audience development

➡️ creator platforms

➡️ modern productivity systems

That creates enormous tension inside traditional education models built around old assumptions of authorship, testing, and evaluation.

But here’s the bigger issue:

If students outsource thinking entirely, they may also outsource:

critical reasoning

creativity

resilience

problem solving

and intellectual struggle

And those are still the exact skills that create long-term value in leadership, innovation, and business.

This is why the future of education probably won’t be:

“AI or no AI.”

It will be:

How do institutions teach students to use AI responsibly without surrendering human capability in the process?

That’s a much harder conversation.

Exactly why MELT continues building at the intersection of:

AI,

media,

sports,

education,

content,

technology,

culture,

and workforce transformation.

Because this isn’t just a technology story anymore.

It’s a human adaptation story.

The AI debate in education isn’t really about cheating.

It’s about how human learning, critical thinking & workforce development evolve in an AI-driven world.

Students need AI literacy.

But they also still need creativity, resilience, communication & real problem-solving skills.

That balance will define the next decade.
