Solar Eclipse and New Moon

Tomorrow March 29, 2005 we will have a partial solar eclipse and new moon.
Eclipses have long been seen as omens, markers of change, and energetic resets. The solar eclipse, especially, speaks to the self—our identity, our purpose, our creative fire. When the light goes out, even briefly, we’re asked: Who are you without the usual brightness? What’s ready to dissolve, and what is longing to be born?

HOW TO WORK WITH THIS ENERGY (rather than against it):

DO:
• Get quiet. Eclipses stir the unconscious. Stillness creates space for what’s rising to come through.
• Rest your nervous system. This is a time of cellular sensitivity. Think: low-stimulation, deep nourishment, and inner listening.
• Observe instead of act. Insights may flash, but don’t rush to act on them. Let the dust settle. The real clarity lands in the days after the eclipse.
• Feel it in your body. The Moon governs emotions and tides. Notice what stirs in you—especially in your heart and gut. Let your body be your oracle.

DON’T:
• Don’t force intention-setting. Unlike a regular New Moon, eclipse portals are less about manifesting and more about releasing. Let the cosmos rearrange things.
• Don’t make impulsive decisions. What arises now may not be fully visible or true yet. Let things unfold.
• Don’t override your system. If you feel tender, tired, or stirred up—honor that. You’re in sync with something ancient.

Let the eclipse remind you that there is intelligence in the dark. There is guidance in the pause. And often, the most profound shifts happen when we are still enough to feel them.

My Journey Through the Seasons of Life
As we approach the astrological new year:

Autumn Edition:
As autumn’s golden hues gave way to winter’s quiet embrace, I found myself reflecting on a year unlike any other. After years in a land of endless summer, experiencing the full tapestry of seasons has been profound.

Autumn arrived, and I realized I’d never truly understood change until I watched the trees transform before my eyes. The air turned crisp as once-vibrant leaves surrendered to the wind, teaching me that transformation can be as gentle as it is powerful.

Fall is a season of trust. The trees don’t cling to what they once were; they release, knowing this is not an end but a necessary pause before new growth.

In their graceful surrender, I found a lesson: there is beauty in impermanence.

The falling leaves whispered that every chapter—even those filled with warmth and color—must eventually close to make way for the next. And so, I learned to trust these cycles, believing that after the quiet of winter, spring would return with new life.

As I wandered these leave filled grounds I came to connect with some beautiful horses. These were captive yet I imagined them running untamed under the same golden sky, their spirit as free as the swirling leaves. Wild horses don’t resist the changing seasons or shifting winds—they move with them, embodying a fearless, untamed spirit.

They are living symbols of freedom, reminding me of the part of myself that yearns to be untethered and true. Just as these horses run with the wind, I aspired to move with nature’s flow, embracing each change with open arms and an open heart.

Both the autumn trees and wild horses share the same truth: to live in harmony with change is to live fully. Standing with leaves at my feet and the spirit of wild horses in my heart, I felt an unexpected peace. I began to understand that letting go—like a tree releasing its leaves or a horse galloping toward the horizon—is not loss but liberation. We can be both rooted and free, grounded and wild, when we trust the cycles that guide us. This is the quiet magic of transformation.
