People have asked how to temper your quads before a squat session. This is what I do. If I was squatting with a wider stance I might open up and hit the ab/adductors, but this usually does the trick for me and I feel pretty good. “With the announcement, I’ve gotten a lot of questions about how I set up to temper using the Forge. So first, I get out the Forge and the plates I’ll need. I wanted 80 pounds for my calves, 130 for my hamstrings and 100 for my back. So I take the 25’s and 10’s and set them next to the table so they’re easy to snag as I get to different places. Then it’s easy. Set it on the calves, add 50 pounds. Roll it up to the hamstrings and add another 50. Take 50 off and add 20 and roll it to the back. Strip it down empty and remove. Easy. If it was someone smaller, I’d get out fewer plates, if I’m working on someone bigger, I’d probably snag another pair of 25’s. No need to have a ton of tools on hand. HUGE CONGRATS to .sinclair and the UGA Bulldogs for winning the National Championship. Coach Sinclair and his staff were the first team in college football to buy in to the Forge. Doing that added the most efficient way to body temper to their recovery and performance program. Congrats!
