The Georgia Optometric Association is a statewide professional organization representing over 700 optometrists located in communities throughout the state of Georgia. Georga Optometric Association Social Media Content Policy
-The Georga Optometric Association page(s) is open only to those individuals who express an interest in upholding the mission of the organization and its commitment
to advocating for the profession of optometry, increasing awareness of the profession and educating consumers about the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams. Violators of the policies listed below will be removed from the group.
-By becoming a follower of the Georga Optometric Association page, (hereafter "page followers"), users agree to abide by the Georga Optometric Association Social Media Content Policy (hereafter "Social Media Content Policy").
-The Georga Optometric Association page will not be used to air public discontent with a situation caused or policy issued by Georga Optometric Association or other parties. Please use proper Georga Optometric Association channels to address any issues or concerns.
-Georga Optometric Association does not endorse or recommend any company, person or their commercial product. The inclusion of a third party link does not imply that Georga Optometric Association endorses, guarantees, or accepts any responsibility for the content or products of another site.
-Georga Optometric Association page is a consumer-oriented site and all material must be appropriate for all ages. All posts and/or hyperlinks must ensure that websites visited from Georga Optometric Association have material that is appropriate for all age groups.
- Georga Optometric Association and the page's administrator(s) reserves the right to deny, edit or remove any material, names, comments and/or links to any website that are deemed unsuitable for any reason, and in particular when in violation of the Social Media Policy.
- Georga Optometric Association has no duty to prescreen content, and will do its best to respond fairly to all concerns raised about content published on the Georga Optometric Association page, but it is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such material.
-No inflammatory language or matters of a derogatory nature will be allowed.
