$45.6 million dollars to our state economy. NAWBO was established to help level the playing field and drive growth for women-owned businesses. The organization started by pushing for legislation that would allow women to get funding for their businesses without a male co-signer. Can you imagine needing your 19-year-old son, who you were still supporting financially, to co-sign for your business loan? Our goal this year is to drive programs, training, and networking opportunities that will fuel your success in the Greater Atlanta area. We have often been told by many of our members that the comradery is as important to their success as the programs and networking opportunities.
