Meet Queen Ludy B’s Red Velvet Pound Cake ❤️

This beauty is part of our Legacy Collection, created in loving homage to my grandmother, Mrs. Ludy Bernice Dunning Gildersleeve.

Born in Vineland, Alabama, and later making her home in Selma, Mrs. Ludy B was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, woman of faith, and educator who spent 35 fulfilling years teaching in both public and private schools in Alabama.

This red velvet pound cake honors her legacy of love, strength, faith, family, and service. Just like the women who came before us, this cake is rich, beautiful, Southern, and made to be shared.

It’s rich. It’s soft. It’s red velvet. It’s pound cake. And baby… it tastes like somebody’s grandma made it with love.

Whether you’re picking one up for the family, gifting it to someone special, or treating yourself, this one is more than dessert, it’s a sweet piece of legacy and a tribute to memories that continue to live on.
