A few critical repairs can make a world of difference. 🏡💛
Through the FCS Legacy Home Repair Program, seniors receive essential home repairs that help them remain safely in their homes and prevent displacement.
This home's transformation included a fully renovated bathroom and new exterior stairs, creating a safer and more accessible space for the homeowner.
So far this year, FCS has completed 17 critical home repairs, with 2 more currently in progress. Every project helps ensure longtime neighbors can continue calling South Atlanta home.
🎤 Lights. Buzzers. Friendly competition. A whole lot of laughter.
The FCS team traded neighborhood meetings for game show podiums during a staff outing at Game Show Challenge - Atlanta —and let's just say our competitive sides made an appearance.
After splitting into Team Charlie Brown and Team Goals, we battled through trivia, puzzles, and fast-paced challenges. While both FCS teams walked away as winners, we did have one small catch... apparently, those giant prize checks aren't redeemable.
More importantly, the evening reminded us that the same teamwork, encouragement, and trust we bring to our work every day also make for a pretty great game show team.
Our staff pours so much heart into partnering with neighbors and creating opportunities for communities to flourish. Taking time to celebrate one another, laugh together, and share a meal afterward is just as important.
