This client hired fantastic movers to move her into her new gorgeous condo. However, no matter how good your movers are they are not organizers and their job is simply to unpack your boxes. That means often times items will end up in spaces they don't belong.
These before and after photos perfectly highlight the difference between movers and organizers. The movers unpacked all her dishes and rarely-used serving ware into her pantry, and placed her never-used china on the lowest easy-to-reach shelves. All her food and pantry items were placed in upper cabinets in her kitchen, which for us short girlies is the kiss of death since that means groceries are virtually impossible to reach.
They also unpacked all her backstock kitchen items into her laundry room, which in theory would be a good idea but 1) she had room in her pantry for these items and 2) the laundry room had limited space.
We did a MAJOR cabinet shuffle, switched things around, and added beautiful organizing products. Now all her often-used items are in easy-to-reach spots and her rarely-used items are placed in cabinets that are still accessible but higher up and not taking up valuable cabinet space.
