Paint + primer paint is basically a lie.

A lie I forgot about this week that has me painting for an extra day. Swipe through to learn what mistake I made and then share this post so others don't make it!

Have you made the same mistake? Do you usually prime before you paint? Let's chat in the comments.

It's OK to change your mind

Did you know that this was my 3rd attempt at create a coffee station of some sort?

My coffee supplies first lived in my kitchen, then I attempted a coffee station in my living room. But that turned out to be too much space and too far from the kitchen to truly serve its purpose. That's how I ended up with my 3rd (and final) coffee station/wall just outside my kitchen. Swipe to see the evolution.

It's OK to change your mind. To update your style. To repaint. To undo. To remove. To make mistakes
To rebuild. That's how we grow ❤️

Leave a comment with something you wish you knew earlier in your DIY journey. No matter how small, silly, or insignificant you think it is! Let's grow together.

Purposeful yet pretty.

I think that's my thing. Taking pain points in my house, solving them, while creating something beautiful on a budget.

Swipe to see some close ups of this space as well as what it looked like before.

What current pain points in your house do you have that a DIY could (or has) solved. Let's chat in the comments!

For 4 years, I never understood the difference between a drill and impact driver. But once I borrowed my dad's impact driver there was no going back and now my impact driver is one of my most essential tools.

Let me know in the comments if you you have an impact driver or not. If you do, let everyone know how you use it 👇🏿

Checking for square, without a square! Swipe to learn about the 3-4-5 math-less method.

I'm building a storage cabinet with drawers this week, and for drawers to function correctly, my piece needs to be square. Except my speed square was in my basement and after 5000 trips up and down the stairs I didn't want another. So i was able to use the 3-4-5 method in a pinch.

After you read about, give it a try and let me know in the comments if it worked for you!
