National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) 50th
I’m on a natural high. I got to visit three of our scholarship recipients at Morehouse, Spelman college, and Morehouse School of Medicine. I’m so proud of all they’ve achieved and their career endeavors. I was glad to see George A. Smith, the 2019 STEM dinner keynote speaker, and Brian Harris (two of the founders of the National Society of Black Engineers) share their story of young men from Lindblom H.S. who attended Purdue University, saw the need and established the National Society of Black Engineers.
I’m beaming with pride as thousands of young black engineering students and professionals engulf the area.
