🎓 We’re congratulating our graduating seniors with our annual Scholar Send-Off! Today, we celebrate Mario who is headed to Tuskegee University where he will major in architecture.

During high school, Mario:

🌟 Played as a Defensive Lineman on the Varsity football team
🌟 Member of the Youth to Men Mentorship Program
🌟 Made Honor Roll
🌟 Received the Kennesaw State University STEM Immersion Program Award

His volunteer service included Youth to Men at hospitals, park clean-ups, and Tillman House Food Pantry.

Sanai said: “One thing I will miss are the morning greetings from the teachers from the bridge at Lovett. It motivated me each morning I walked into Lovett. I will also miss the classroom competition between each class. It has made the program more enjoying and fun.”

Mark said: “I will miss teachers and my friends the most. I feel like as the greatest experience I got from Breakthrough was how to make friends and build relationships/strong bonds with people. Breakthrough offered time to communicate and connect with your teachers, staff, peers, and many others. It was the greatest skill I learned there. It taught me how to talk and open up to people. It gave me a place/group where I felt I belonged.”
