✨ THORO Ave: Conversations That Build Wealth & Heal Legacy ✨

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of speaking with
Lance Growth & Lisane Basquiat …and what unfolded was more than an interview—it was alignment.

Interview:

🎤 Me: What are wealthy families getting wrong behind closed doors?

💼 Lance: “Honestly… they’re not that different from everyday people.”

➡️ People think investing is only for the rich—but anyone can start where they are.

➡️ Tax strategies aren’t just for the wealthy—they’re for the informed.

And then he leaned in with this—🧠 “Stop waiting for the bottom to fall out. Opportunity is already here… are you?”

(Fear really be having us miss our moment.) 😏

🎤 Me: What’s a belief you carried that was rooted in survival—not truth?

🧠 Lisane: “I used to say, ‘I work best under pressure.’” But she unpacked that…

➡️ That mindset came from watching her hardworking father

➡️ It created resilience—but also normalized pressure as a lifestyle

Now, as the steward of her brother Jean-Michel Basquiat’s legacy, she moves differently.

She’s not just protecting art—
She’s protecting meaning.

✨ Creating licensing opportunities so his work stays
aligned

✨ Ensuring ownership isn’t lost in the name of access

Because legacy isn’t just about what’s left…
It’s about what’s honored.

🎤 Me: What role does community play in all of this?

🧠 Lisane: “As a first-generation daughter of a Haitian father… community is everything.”

✨ “When I win, we all win.”

Not competition.
Connection.

🎤 Lisa (PR): Leave us with one word.

💼 Lance: UNITY

🧠 Lisane: COMMUNITY… it’s medicine.

💡 THORO Ave Takeaway: Money without mindset is unstable.

Mindset without strategy is incomplete.
We need both.
